We’re passionate about creating an uplifting, friendly and relaxing space where our customers can spend time with loved ones, make memories and enjoy great food and drink together.
Our ultimate goal has always been to revive the beloved Manxonia House in the heart of Port St Mary, so that visitors from near and far can experience its charm and beauty.
We're delighted to share that we've carefully restored many of the original features of the historic building, giving it a touch of its former glory while also creating something truly unique - Kellas.
We hope you find Kellas a warm and inviting space where lasting memories can be made.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
Once a thriving fishing port, Port St Mary - or Purt le Moirrey in our native tongue - is a picturesque coastal village in the south west corner of the Isle of Man. The name is derived from the church of St Mary which once stood beside the shore of Chapel Bay, a sweeping beach edged with rocky pools which Kellas overlooks.
From Chapel Bay enjoy a leisurely stroll along the 'cat-walk' leading to the quaint inner and outer harbours. If you’re feeling adventurous continue walking a few miles along the coast to view the extraordinary Chasms before heading back to Port St Mary to refuel at Kellas or one of the other fabulous eateries in the village.
It’s been a long journey to get to this point, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing work of our local partners, especially Kneen Construction Ltd who have led on the renovation, and Cubbin & Bregazzi who have created such an incredible space for us with their interior design services.
